Dr. Khanh Thieu, MD is a board-certified dermatologist with expertise in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Bioengineering, graduating summa cum laude in both majors. He received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School and completed his dermatology residency at Columbia University Medical Center–NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident during his final year of training.
Dr. Khanh Thieu provides comprehensive dermatologic care for both adults and children and has broad clinical interests in medical dermatology. His cosmetic practice includes facial rejuvenation with Botox® and injectable fillers (including Restylane®, JUVÉDERM®, and Radiesse®), chemical peels, sclerotherapy for the treatment of leg veins, and cosmetic removal of moles and benign skin growths.
Dr. Khanh Thieu is actively involved in academic medicine and research. He has authored 13 peer-reviewed scientific articles and three textbook chapters and has presented his work at national dermatology conferences. His research has focused on the genetics of melanoma and squamous cell carcinoma, contributing to a deeper understanding of skin cancer biology.
